Life Membership for Veterans with Spinal Cord Injury or Disease - Free

Any individual who meets the following criteria is eligible to join Paralyzed Veterans of America as a lifetime member, at no cost:

  • A citizen of the United States
  • A veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces whose discharge was other than dishonorable
  • An individual who has suffered a spinal cord injury as a result of trauma or disease, which results in paralysis of more than one limb.  The injury or disease may or may not be service connected.

Life members are entitled to the full complement of membership benefits.

Affiliate Membership - $20

Affiliate membership welcomes members of the Kentucky & Indiana disabled community to partner with KIPVA for fellowship and low/no cost adaptive sports and recreation opportunities.

Affiliate members may participate in open events and sports and recreation opportunities, and are encouraged to support KIPVA’s mission through volunteerism and program participation.  Affiliate membership includes an annual subscription to The OUTREACH newsletter.

Associate Membership - $20

Associate members are dedicated supporters of KIPVA, supporting the mission through volunteerism, financial support, and by sharing the important work of PVA with their community.  Affiliate members receive an annual subscription to The OUTREACH and are invited to special KIPVA events throughout the year.

Tom Vallandingham

This KIPVA Board Member will tell you that he only came to his first KIPVA meeting for one reason - Indianapolis Colts tickets. He will tell you today that he got much more.  

Today, Tom serves his fellow veterans as a KIPVA Board Member, VAVS & HLO Representative for the Lexington VA Hospitals.He has even went to Capital Hill to meet with Senators & Congressment on Veterans Issues.  He is a passionate advocate for Paralyzed Veterans of America. You will find him at Bass Tournaments, shooting sports clinics and even the National Veterans Wheelchair Games.  

And .... Yes, he still comes for the Indianapolis Colts tickets!
